What Do You Do For An Encore?

What Do You Do For An Encore? (12A)

Friday 18 Sep 20267:30pm (Closed)

Narrated by the band’s own Jarvis Cocker and directed by their longtime collaborator Garth Jennings, the feature combines footage from their arena tour behind last year’s reunion album, More, with archival film tracing the band’s rise from tenacious Sheffield outsiders to unlikely cultural icons. Featuring twenty songs spanning the course of their career, PULP: What Do You Do For An Encore? is a tribute to a band of misfits whose sharp social commentary, sarcastic yet sincere wit, and enduring empathy with their audience continue to resonate across generations.

Expected to capture the spirit of the classic Talking Heads 1984 concert film Stop Making Sense, Pulp’s new film will blend the “brilliantly choreographed stage spectacle” that the band had on their most recent arena tour – celebrating the release of ‘More’, their first album in 24 years – along with four decades of “colourful, never-seen-before archival material.”

Exclusively in UK cinemas for one night only!
